The Greater the Pleasure

The Seeker's Dungeon

Though great is
the happiness,
more severe is the
pain
when it
leaves;

though great be
the pleasure,
deeper still is the
grief
when you
breathe –

joy leads to
sorrow
when wrapped in
a world of
tomorrows,
only the
changeless is
the nature of
peace.

Fear doesn’t
move me,
I’ve given myself
to this world,
trading
reality’s glory
for the
dream.

All effects
have a cause
in a world
perfectly balanced
for experience is
not
more than it
seems.

Clinging to
waves can’t
sustain me,
but knowing the
ocean will
embrace me,
I go on turning
water in to
wine,

within the
mind of a world
that believes
more than
all else,
in escaping
the concept of
time.
