Back In Time

There were a million times
I wish to rewind this life of mine
All I wanna do is to sit and cry
Coz longing for you, at first is not fine

Go back to before that tragic time
that time you were about to leave my side
I was afraid to look in your eyes
Coz maybe you’ll disappear after a glance

But I beg you to stay, to stay, and to stay
I can’t breathe if you make me feel this way
I grab your hand and promise one thing
that promise in my heart, it stings.

And now our tomorrows turned into years
years that turned into sorrows and fears
How I wish to turn back this time of mine
so that I can finally say, “Without you, I’m totally fine”.

As I lay me down to sleep
I pray for you my heart to keep,
and walking down the streets of sorrow,
it is your footsteps I wish to follow,
as in the darkened skies around,
there’s nothing there-not even a sound.
With just our two hearts beating as one,
I know that our time has almost come and gone.
But what I promise you now-and till death do us part,
is that you will always remain deep in my heart.

My prayer to my love.

You Are Peculiar

There’s no one who can take your place.
The way you smile, the way you look, the way you always know what I am thinking about, the way you gave me hug when all was needed, the way you cry, laugh, listen and love.
You share your hopes and dreams and help me shared mine; you touch my life and there will never be another you.
You have touched me more profoundly than I ever thought you could touch me.
I love you.

Me With You Forever

There are times when behind your smile there is sorrow, behind you laughter there are tears.
I just want you to know that behind you there will always be me.
I will cherish you for the rest of my life because you offered me what I can’t buy: “LOVE”, and when you feel alone just look at the spaces of you fingers.
Remember that in those spaces, you can see my fingers locked with yours “FOREVER”

A Tear On My Pillow

When I lay and think, in my bed at night,
the day you’ll arrive, seems nowhere in sight.
I toss and I turn, dreaming of you,
opening my eye’s… checking if my dream came true.
It didn’t, again, and a tear starts to roll,
weeping quietly… my pillow I hold.

Many sleepless nights I’ve prayed for you, my love.
God touched my soul from heaven above
He’s answered my prayers for my bride to be.
I’ve never felt this lucky, God did this for me.
That’s a question I asked each and every night. Continue reading

I Cannot Lead

I cannot say Lead if I don’t have the willingness to direct myself and motivate others.

I cannot say Encourage if all my time is reserve for my own interests.

I cannot say Advice unless I am ready to make good counsel and right decisions.

I cannot say Dignity without expending enough time to reflect on the words that others uttered.

I cannot say Empathy if the genuine needs of others is the last priority on my checklist.

I cannot say Responsible If I knowingly choose to be slothful and to be lavish in my time doing such inconsequential things.

I cannot say Service if I, who am called by God, doesn’t give the best to serve Him alone whole-heartedly.

I cannot say Honesty if sometimes I failed to become more truthful and build great integrity to myself.

I cannot say Inspire if I fear what my neighbors and friends may say or do.

I cannot say Peace to all people unless I honestly say, “Whatever side of partiality and plane of imperfections I have; I’m still a LEADER”.

Blessed John Henry Newman: FLOWERS WITHOUT FRUIT

Prune thou thy words; the thoughts control

That o’er thee swell and throng;–
They will condense within thy soul,
And change to purpose strong.

But he who lets his feelings run
In soft luxurious flow,
Shrinks when hard service must be done,
And faints at every woe.

Faith’s meanest deed more favor bears,
Where hearts and wills are weighed,
Than brightest transports, choicest prayers,
Which bloom their hour, and fade.

O MY God, give me your graceso that the things of this earth and things more naturally pleasing to me, may not be as close as YOU are to me. Keep my eyes, my ears, my heart from clinging to the things  of this world. Break my bonds, raise my heart. Keep my whole beeing fixed on you. Let me never lose sight of You; and while I gaze on you, let my love grow more and more every day.

I am truly inspired by his several poems about God. He is one of the most prestigous poet in England. This is one of His popular poems that moved countless people’s hearts because of having a vast zeal creating such works.
